In a region where 20% of students in the area graduate from high school, Young Living Academy and YL Foundation are making a BIG difference.  Access to quality education is extremely limited in Chongon, Ecuador where our Fina Botanica Farm is located.  Gary saw the need and went to work.  

In 2009, he went to work on building and with 42 students, the Young Living Academy was born!  Since that time, there have been 133 high school graduates and 93 went on to higher learning through colleges or trade schools.  Some being the first in their family to have any higher education.  
There is 100% graduation rate.  The Academy currently offers space for 360 students, their goal is to increase it to accommodate 1000 students.  They are only able to accept 10% of the applicants each year.  

YLA is currently working on expansion and this is where YOU come in.  With YLF, 100% of your donations go towards the Young Living Academy expansion project.  Young Living corporate pays for all administrative costs.

This Giving Tuesday, please donate what you can towards this wonderful cause.  I was able to sit down and talk with these students and they are so grateful for the opportunity that we provide them.  They have journalism clubs, service project clubs that provide services back into their communities, they have a performing arts department, they have recycling and sustainability clubs.  These kids are doing great things!
