Since 2015, The D. Gary Young, Young Living Foundation has partnered with Healing Faith Uganda to help put an end to malaria deaths in the rural villages of Eastern Uganda.
In Africa, a person dies from malaria every 60 seconds. It is the leading cause of death in Africa for children under the age of 5, far exceeding the rate of HIV/AIDS. While the disease is preventable, treatable, and curable, it continues to devastate villages in Uganda, which has the third highest rate of malaria in Africa.

Operating in the areas with the highest transmission rates of malaria in Uganda, Healing Faith is saving lives and changing communities at the heart of the epidemic by providing malaria education, prevention, and treatment.
Healing Faith goes from village to village to provide community-wide education—where families learn how to prevent malaria and identify the signs and symptoms—and then install life-saving mosquito nets in individual homes. Through the new Healing Faith Malaria Center that the Young Living Foundation is helping to fund, they are providing 80,000 villagers with feasible access to malaria prevention, testing, and treatment. The center is located near Lake Victoria, where mosquito populations thrive and malaria infections are a persistent problem.
With your $5 donation, Healing Faith can purchase and hang one mosquito net that will help protect 3–4 children from malaria. It's that easy to save the lives of children.
Ending malaria deaths in Uganda is a massive challenge. With your help, we can make a difference one net, one test, one family, one day at a time.
