While I was sitting at the 2019 convention watching the D.Gary Young Foundation videos I felt a rush of compassion well up inside of me. The stories of the young women getting caught in the snares of trafficking caught my attention. Then when I heard Ben Riley say that the youngest girl rescued was just a year old I knew that I had to do something. God was touching my heart to do something more than round up my orders. I looked at our families financial situation and could not find a way to give more at this time. I was feeling completely overwhelmed to try to find a way to do more.
A few weeks after convention I was riding my bike which is part of my daily routine praying for a way to help rescue more girls from trafficking and I heard the Lord say, "You can ride." As I thought it through I came to the conclusion that I will ride my bicycle around Keuka Lake in the Finger Lakes in upstate New York. It would be a total of about 65 miles through some of the most beautiful creation I have ever seen on October 6. 2018. I have done this to support Tour de Cure but now I am going to ride for the Foundation. Every penny will be going toward rescuing girls and giving them a chance at FREEDOM. I want to thank you ahead of time for you can giving to this task in helping me accomplish my desire to "Do More."
