Support a Diamond Dash Runner

Donate to sponsor a fellow Young Living runner!

Donate a flat amount or pledge per leg to support a fellow Young Living runner participating in the 2018 Diamond Dash! 100 percent of all donations completed will go to The D. Gary Young, Young Living Foundation.

One of the requirements for achieving the rank of Diamond within Young Living is to have 5 legs with at least 15,000 Organization Group Volume (OGV) on each leg. In the Diamond Dash challenge, avid Young Living runners will set out to complete 5 legs of a 5K route, for a total of 15.5 miles, in 2.5 hours, and you can show your support for every leg completed along the way!

Diamond Dash Sponsorship FAQs

Can I give a flat donation instead of a pledged amount per leg?

Yes. Flat donations are accepted, and you will make this donation upfront no matter if the runner you are sponsoring completes the Diamond Dash.

How does the pledge per leg donation work?

Each runner who takes part in the Diamond Dash will look to complete 15.5 miles or 5 legs of a 5K route. For example, tf you pledge $10 USD per leg, and the runner completes all 5 legs, you will donate $50 USD. If you pledge $12 USD per leg, and the runner completes all 5 legs, you will donate $60 USD, and so forth.

When will my pledged amount be deducted from my credit card?

In one or two business days after the race, we’ll send you an email to let you know how many legs the runner you sponsored completed and your credit card will be charged automatically based on the results.

Is my gift tax deductible?

Yes. 100 percent of any gift given from a sponsor is tax deductible for U.S. citizens, and 100 percent of your donation will go directly to the Young Living Foundation’s carefully selected projects and partnerships.

What if someone doesn’t participate?

If any runner cannot take part in the complete Diamond Dash because they did not show up or got sick or hurt, they will receive an automatic minimum amount of 1 leg. This means your pledged amount will be multiplied by 1 leg so that the Foundation can still be supported. For instance, if a runner only completes half of a leg before getting hurt, and you pledged $12 USD per leg, you will end up donating $12 USD to meet the 1-leg minimum ($12 x 1 leg = $12).

On the other hand, if the runner completes more than the minimum amount of 1 leg, then your per leg pledged amount will go toward whatever amount they have completed. For example, if a runner completes 2 of the 5 legs and you pledged $15 USD per leg, you will end donating $30 USD ($30 x 2 legs = $30).

We do not refund sponsors if a participant was unable to take part in the Diamond Dash. If you have further questions, you can email us at
